Despite what the end of The Shiawase no Shika Montage (Zelda: The Musical Trailer) says, The Legend of Zelda: The Musical will not be coming this fall. Why? Because certain boys who agreed to be Link have too much of an image to uphold and don't follow up on their agreements. (We are glaring at you angrily. You know who you are.)

Also... we don't have our costumes yet. We're aiming for next fall.

This is basically our way of putting together our random goof-offs from the past year. We may or may not actually make the musical, pending costume and time issues. We would really love to, though.

Zelda Cartoon Re-enacted in Bad French

We were supposed to be filming a zombie movie for French class, but we got distracted. REALLY distracted. So we re-enacted the worst cartoon ever made in bad French. The scene is from Episode 12, "The Missing Link", if you want to look it up. (If not, here's a summary: Link is invisible and only Zelda can see him. Ganon [sitting on the purple springy dinosaur in our movie] has concluded that this is because Zelda's in love with Link. This is where our movie begins.)

We're four girls plus some other people who are pretty much insane in the membrane and awesome in the possum. We are known to the Interwebs as Professor Man, Starlet, Lonk, and Nole.



There are others who are not technically the Shiawase no Shika, but they appear in our shenanigans pretty often: Whale, Nila, and Dumpus.

We created this blog to showcase all the kick-awesome and absoludicrous things we make/do/sing. We're total geeks in our own individual ways and have various fandoms and interests. We used to be on Google Sites, but that went the way of Pluto in the summer of 2009 and we arrived at Blogger shortly thereafter.

The name "Shiawase no Shika" (幸せの鹿, or しあわせのしか in kana) somewhat loosely translated means "Deer of Happiness" in Japanese. We went to Nara Park in Japan back in April 2007, and bought kitschy touristy deer antler headbands at the gift shop in Tōdai Temple. That's how we became the Shiawase no Shika, for a combined total of 1,200 yen!

We also seem to be the only four female Ace Attorney fans on Earth who are severely NOT interested in Phoenix/Edgeworth or other slash pairings/fics/art. We do, however, fully support Gumshoe/Maggey because it's canon and they're just so darned cute. If you are a female Ace Attorney fan of similar opinion, please comment or e-mail us and tell us we're not alone.
