Supplemental Turkey: FanimeCon 2009

Okay, it was five months ago, but here it is. FanimeCon 2009. A weekend of confusion, exhaustion, laughter, substance-free raving (with line dancing and a conga line), and climbing nineteen flights of stairs every day because the elevators were just too darn crowded.

At the Momoi Halko concert:
Between songs, Momoi Halko began to announce to the audience, holding her skirt, "This dress is made of Taiwanese--"

"PEOPLE!" Whale's friend interrupted. "IT'S MADE OF TAIWANESE PEOPLE!!"

Beverage of Choice for the Shiawase no Shika & Co.:
Powdered lemonade, made with tap water. The further into the weekend and the less the sanity, the higher the proportion of powder. Eventually you stop needing the water and just enjoy the powder straight.

Beverage of Choice for Nole:
Water made of melting ice from our giant cooler that has bits of lettuce, cheese, ham, and turkey from improperly sealed food containers plus detritus from two years of sitting in Starlet's backyard floating in it. Not recommended for human consumption. Even on a dare. Seriously. You'll regret it.

BEST GAME EVER:
1000 Blank White Cards. More about this later.

An insider source on the Interwebs has revealed a startling development. A mere rumor, too much spare time while trying to write a ten-page paper? We'll see this summer!
